Homeland--Beijing--Urumqi--Kashgar--Turpan--Liuyuan--Dunhuang--Jiayuguan-- Lanzhou--Xihe--Xi'an--Shanghai--Homeland  (13D 12N)

ITINERARY Day 01   Homeland/Beijing Our adventure begins when we board today's flight to Beijing. Day 02   Arrive Beijing Arrive in Beijing, a world-class capital with an incredible mix of historic and modem landmarks. Our guide will pick us at Beijing international airport and transfer to our hotel. Day 03   Beijing/ Urumqi/ Kashgar                          (B+L+D) Take flight to Urumqi , the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Visit the Xinjiang Museum . Then take filght to Kashgar, a cultural center of the Uygur nationality in ancient times and an important oasis city.   Day 04    Kashgar/ Urumqi                                       (B+L+D) Visit the biggest lslamic mosque in China-the ldkah Mosque, the typical architecture—Apak Hoja Tombs(also named the Fragrant Concubine Tombs), Grand Bazaar that is an international market linking the east and the west,  then we will visit a Uygur family. After dinner take flihgt to Urumqi.  Day 05   Urumqi/Tianshan Mountains/Turpan     (B+L+D) Transfer to Tianshan Mountains, visit the Heavenly Lake. After lunch in the city, drive to Turpan, which is famous for Grapes and Hami Melons. Visit the ancient irrigation system-karez on the way. After dinner we can enjoy the Uygur dancing and singing under the Grapes' trees.                                                                 Day 06  Turpan/Liuyuan                                           (B+L+D) The half day tour of the ruins of Ancient City Gaochang, Ancient Astana Tombs, Bezikilik ThoHomelandnd Buddha Grottoes and the Flaming mountains. In the afternoon, visit the ancient Uygur architecture-Emin Minaret. After dinner take the night train (soft sleeper) to Liuyuan.                                                              Day 07   Liuyuan/Dunhuang                                      (B+L+D) Get off train and transfer to Dunhuang, the highlight of the silk road will bring us to Mogao Grottoes, known as the "Treasure House of the Eastern Art", best preserved in China as well as in the worldwide. Then visit Mingsha Hill and the Crescent Moon Lake in the afternoon.  Day 08    Dunhuang/Jiayuguan/Lanzhou                (B+L+D) Transfer to Jiayuguan city, Visit the Great Wall of Jiayuguan. Take T658(21:48/07:14) train to Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province.   Day 09    Lanzhou/ Xiahe                                           (B+L+D) Arrive in Lanzhou in the morning, an ancient city that is now the capital of Gansu Province. Visit the Yellow River. Then transfer to Xiahe.  Day 10    Xiahe/Lanzhou                                             (B+L+D) Visit the Tibetan holy land-Lapuleng lamasery . Drive back to Lanzhou. Day 11    Lanzhou/Xi'an                                               (B+L+SD)      Take flight to Xi'an, the most famous ancient capital of China. Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, have three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of an army of 7.000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of China's first emperor. Visit the ancient City Wall. Enjoy a characteristic dumping dinner and enjoy a dazzling Tang Dynasty Cultural Show full of music, dance and colorful traditional costumes in the evening.       Day 12    Xi'an/Shanghai                                             (B+L+D)    Take flight to Shanghai, "where East meets West".  Visit the Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden created in 1559. Visit the Bund, which is the splendid row of early 20th century European buildings remains the quintessential Shanghai sight. And walk through the old town filled with antique markets and specialty stores.       Day 13    Shanghai/Homeland                                    (B) Transfer to the Shanghai international airport and board homebound flight; arrive in our country on the same day.
