ITINERARY

Day01    Homeland/Beijing
Our adventure begins when we board today's flight to Beijing.

Day02    Arrive Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, a world-class capital with an incredible mix of historic and modem landmarks. Our guide will pick us at Beijing international airport and transfer to our hotel.

Day03    Beijing /Lhasa                              (B+L+D)
Take flight to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. Upon arrival, we transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free for us to get accustomed to the Tibetan climate and altitude.

Day04   Lhasa                                             (B+L+D)
Full day, visit the fabled Potala palace, Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Park.

Day05    Lhasa                                          (B+L+D)
Visit the Drepung Monastery, Johkang Temple and Barkhor market.

Day06    Lhasa / Chengdu                         (B+L+D)
Take flight to Chengdu,the ancient city that is now the capital of Sichuan province. Visit the Dufu Thatched Cottafe and River-viewing Pavilion Park.

Day07   Chengdu/Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou  (B+L+D)
Take flight to JiuzhaiHuanglong airport, drive to Huanglong, visit Huanglong Valley (the UNESCO World Natural Heritage), and drive to Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Day08    Jiuzhaigou                                     (B+L+D)
Take local bus to tour the Jiuzhaigou Valley (the UNESCO World Natural Heritage), feel the charm of the "Fairy land".

Day09    Jiuzhai Huanglong/Chongqing       (B+L+D)
Take flight to Chongqing, nicknamed the mountain city. Visit the Chongqing Zoo for the Giant Panda and the Residence of General Joseph W.Stilwell.

Day10    Chonqing/Dazu/Chongqing         (B+L+D)
We will spend the day on an excursion to Dazu Stone Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its extraordinary cliff sculptures. 50,000 images are carved into niches and caves on the hillsides of North Hill and Baoding Hill. Work began here in 892AD, and continued for more than 400 years. Then transfer back to Chongqing . Take flight to Shanghai, "where East meets West".

Transfer to the Shanghai Pudong international airport and board homebound flight; arrive in our country on the same day.
