ITINERARY
Day 01 Homeland/Beijing Our adventure begins when we board today's flight to Beijing.
Day 02 Arrive Beijing Arrive in Beijing, a world-class capital with an incredible mix of historic and modem landmarks. Our guide will pick us at Beijing international airport and transfer to our hotel.
Day 03 Beijing (B+L+SD) Visit the Badaling Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. Visit the Ming Tombs. Visit the Temple of Heaven, where we will certainly be impressed by the beautiful structure of the Hall of Prayer. Peking Duck Dinner is served in the evening.
Day 04 Beijing (B+L+D) Visit the Tian'anmen Square, the world largest square. Visit the Forbidden City, which symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. Visit the Summer Palace, one of China's largest and best-preserved imperial gardens.
Day 05 Beijing/Chongqing (B+L+D) Take flight to Chongqing, nicknamed the mountain city. Visit the Chongqing Museum and visit the Giant Panda in the Chongqing Zoo.
Day 06 Chonqing/Dazu/Chongqing (B+L+D) We will spend the day on an excursion to Dazu Stone Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its extraordinary cliff sculptures. 50,000 images are carved into niches and caves on the hillsides of North Hill and Baoding Hill. Work began here in 892AD, and continued for more than 400 years. Then transfer back to Chongqing and visit the E’ling Park.
Day 07 Chongqing/Kunming (B+L+D) Take flight to Kunming, an ancient city that is now the capital of Yunnan Province. Visit the Western Hills and Dragon Gate , we can have a bird view for whole city Kunming and the fifth greates lake of China------ Dianchi Lake. Then visit the Yuantong Temple.
Day 08 Kunming/ Stone Forest/ Kunming (B+L+D) Take a full day tour to the Stone Forest,is typical of it's karst-Landscape.In 80 hectares we will enjoy the bizarre-shaped cliffs and peaks which were in the ancient sea before 270 million years ago. Sani minority lives here since hundreds years. Sani girls with their colorful like moved flowerd in Stone Foerst. On the back way visit Qixing village and visit flower and bird market.
Day09 Kunming /Dali (B+L+D) Take flight to Dali in the early moring. Visit Er'hai lake whth some stops on the little islands on the lake. We will visit 2 very typial villages of Bai minority: Xizhou and Zhoucheng. In Xizhou we can see the most beautiful Bai minority housees and very interesting market. Zhoucheng is famous for his Batic,almost all families do this handwork. The local Temple in the village is worthwhile.Then visit the Three Pagodas,symbol of Dali,wre built in the Tang and Song dynasties, about 1000—800 hundred years ago. We will have free time in the old town Dali to feel and discover the town with our eyes, ears and heart.
Day10 Dali /Lijiang (B+L+D) Transfer to Lijiang. The idyllic old town Lijiang is the only one city that has beendesignated as the world cultural heritages by UNESCO in province Yunnan. The town is crisscrossed by riverltets and the streets are paved with colorful stone slabs. Behind wooden houses in the old town we can find a clean and quiet countyard. Afternoon we will have free time in the old town.
Day11 Lijiang (B+L+D) Transfer to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the highest peak is 5596 meters above the sea level. Drive with cable car to Spruce Meadows. Visit Yufeng Lama Temple and Naxi village Longquan, also the famous fresco in Baisha village which is painted 600 years ago. Then we will have free time in the old town.
Day12 Lijiang/Shanghai (B+L+D) Visit the Black Dragon Pond Park with many pavilions, such as Deyue Pavillion, Wufeng Pavillion and Longshen Pavillion. The Museum of Dongba Curlture in the park is famous of the dongba pictograph, which is the rare ones be used in the world . After lunch take flight to Shanghai, ‘‘where East meets West”.
Day13 Shanghai (B+L+D) Visit the Shanghai Museum. Visit the Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden created in 1559 and old town. Visit the Bund, which is splendid row of early 20th century European buildings remains the quintessential Shanghai sight.
Day14 Shanghai/Homeland (B) Transfer to the Shanghai Pudong international airport and board homebound flight; arrive in our country on the same day.
